About the Club:
The West Michigan Z Club is still getting off the ground, so bear with us. We are open to all years and models of Datsun/Nissan Z cars ranging from the 240Z to the 350Z. Most members and event locations are within an hour or so from Grand Rapids, but are open to anyone. Just keep in mind that most of our events are in this area as it is the largest population center of active members. As a club, many of our members participate in all types of motorsports including autocross, drag racing, and road racing. We also occasionally host tech sessions, car shows, and social events. We are working on getting discounts at some local and online businesses. There is no fee for joining, all that is recommended is that you join the web forum and attend some of our events to get to know the club and its members.

2009 28th Street Metro Cruise
The WMZ Club will be having its August meet on Saturday the 29th during this year's Metro Cruise. Fox Nissan(formerly East Nissan) has agreed to allow us to use their lot again this year so that is where we will be. They will be moving cars from the front lot along 28th Street for us. This means we have a prime spot to be seen and to watch the cruise. The dealership is located at the corner of 28th and Acquest (across from Art Van) DIRECTIONS
Our meet is open to all Nissan, Datsun, and Infiniti models, whether they are stock or modified and please feel free to bring friends and family. We are planning on having food and beverages so please sign up on the forum to help us out with that if you can.

Cruise and gathering - The WMZClub will have it's October meet on Saturday the 18th. Depending on the weather we will be meeting up for a cruise then going to Schmohz Brewing Company afterwards for a taste of their excellent beer. If the weather is not Z friendly we will just meet at Schmohz around 2PM.
Scmohz is located at 2600 Patterson S.E. Grand Rapids, MI 49546. They do not prepare food on the premesis but the allow you to bring your own. We'll be sure to have something there to munch on but you're free to bring what ever you'd like as well.

The WMZ Club is planning a cruise this Saturday, April 26th, 2008. The cruise will begin at the Meijers located at 54th St. and Clyde Park and take a scenic route to Grand Haven State Park where we will be joining XceedSpeed's first West Side BBQ. Last 2008 "off-season" meet and 2008 club event planning session
Get ready for an exciting 2008 season! All members (current or prospective) are invited to join us for one last off-season meet on Sunday, March 30th at 4PM at Buffalo Wild Wings at 2720 44th St SW, Wyoming, MI 49519. This meeting will be an offical 2008 event planning session so be sure to bring your ideas!

Happy New Year from the WMZ Club!
Our first meet for 2008 will be at 1PM on 1/12/08 at Schmohz Brewing Company. Schmohz is located minutes away from last year's normal spot, the Grand Rapids Brewing Company, at 2600 Patterson S.E. Grand Rapids, MI 49546. They do not prepare food on the premesis but the allow you to bring your own. We'll be sure to have something there to munch on but you're free to bring what ever you'd like as well.

It's the time of year again when we are forced to start having Z-less gatherings. We've planned our first "off-season" meet this year for 1PM on 12/1/07 at Schmohz Brewing Company. As always, everyone's invited. Come join us for some good times and excellent brews!

We're planning on having an event at Gingerman Raceway on July 25th. This event will take place during the track's 6PM - Dusk session and entry will cost only $60. Please check out this event on our forum for more information and updates.

The WMZ Club is having its next official meet at the Gilmore Car Museum on June 16th at 1:30 PM. The Gilmore Car Museum is a great place to visit for both car "nuts" and everyone else alike. There are a lot of interesting exhibits to see and this gathering should be a lot of fun. The museum is located midway between Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Battle Creek only 15 minutes from I-94 and US-131. MAP. Please check out its posting in the Events forum for more info!

The pages of the main site are currently being worked on. For all of you that have been waiting to be listed on the member page, please check to make sure you're on there now (There were quite a few of you, don't want to miss anyone...)
The gallery page will soon be updated to include more of the photos you've sent in of your Zs and hopefully, pending approval from our webhost for image storage space, everyone will have their own little gallery linked to their name on the members page.

The forum is back up, however the database containing all previous posts and configuration was badly corrupted. Justin is continuing to work on it in his spare time, but we are still not sure if everything can be restored. -Jason

The forum is currently down due to being hacked by someone in China. There was a small security vulnerability in the way the phpbb forum was installed. We are working to restore the forum database ASAP, thanks for your patience. -Jason
